This film is an insight to the horrible reality of victims of sexual abuse. The child, Kerry, is not only sexually abused by her step-father, and mentally and physically abused by her mother, but she is also betrayed by almost every adult she puts her trust in.
13-year-old girl, Kerry (Brooke Kinsella), who is repeatedly sexually abused by several adults and at one point, by her mother. After her father sets her up as a prostitute, Kerry calls Childline and is put in a safe house, where she tries to build a future for herself. Also starring Colin Salmon, No Child of Mine won the BAFTA for Best Single Drama in 1997, as well as a string of international awards.
