Canoe Man is a drama documentary based on the true story of John Darwin (Bernard Hill) who runs into financial difficulty and decides to fake his own death.Only to put his wife (Saskia Reeves) at risk of been caught out by having to cover his tracks with lie upon lie.The films covers the whole story up until his appearance again on December 2007.
