SCHMOEDIPUS (1974):
A notable early play from the pen of Dennis Potter, and transmitted as part of the BBC TV 'Play For Today' series.
This is another of Potter's "visitation dramas" focusing on a mother and son: When a stranger, Glen, appears at the door of middle-aged Elizabeth Carter, he claims to be the illegitimate son she gave away at birth, and she accepts his story.
