The safe, secure, boring life of Charlie Cross, a wealthy, successful solicitor is irretrievably shattered when he embarks on an illicit, passionate affair with the beautiful, mysterious Viola whom he meets one evening whilst investigating the background of his latest criminal client, Edgar Bosco. Charlie is immediately smitten by Viola and falls completely under her spell. Gradually, Charlie becomes more and more obsessed with Viola and does anything to be with her, much to the detriment of his career, reputation, family and marriage. Summerland is an American drama television series created by Stephen Tolkin and Lori Loughlin. It is centered on a clothing designer in her 30s, Ava Gregory (Loughlin), raising her niece and nephews after their parents die in a tragic accident. They live with three of Ava's friends who also help raise the kids in the fictional city of Playa Linda, California.

Summerland premiered on June 1, 2004 on the now defunct television network The WB. The series ran for a total of 26 episodes over two seasons. Its cancellation was announced on May 15, 2005[1] and the last episode aired on July 18, 2005. A soundtrack was released on March 19, 2005 and the show has been syndicated in many countries.

So Weird is an American-Canadian television series that aired as a mid-season replacement from January 18, 1999, to September 28, 2001. The series was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. One of the first Original Series to be shot in 16:9 In the first two seasons, the series centered on teenage girl Fiona Phillips (Cara DeLizia) who toured with her rock-star mom (Mackenzie Phillips), while encountering paranormal activity along the way. The series was compared to the Fox TV series The X-Files since it took a darker tone than any other Disney Channel show at the time. For the third and final season, replaced DeLizia ( with actress Alexz Johnson playing Annie Thelen. Production ceased after 65 episodes.

Even Stevens is an American comedy television series that aired on Disney Channel with a total of three seasons and 65 episodes from June 17, 2000, to June 2, 2003. It follows the life of the Stevenses, a family living in suburban Sacramento, California, mainly focusing on the clashing personalities of its two younger siblings, Ren and Louis.

The series was produced by Brookwell McNamara Entertainment and Fireworks Entertainment. It is often cited as launching Shia LaBeouf's breakout career as an actor. The show also features fast motion photography, which it employs in every episode.

The feature-length Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series, The Even Stevens Movie, premiered on June 13, 2003, and serves as the series finale.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is an American musical television series loosely based on the film, which ran from September 19, 1982 to March 23, 1983.

The series told the adventures of a parentless family of rowdy brothers trying to run the family ranch in northern California. Into the chaos came feisty Hannah, who married Adam and took on the task of bringing order to the household. The series contained about one musical number per episode, written by notable songwriter Jimmy Webb. Despite a small but dedicated fan following, the series was cancelled after one season. It was created after the 1954 Hollywood film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Higher Ground is a Canadian television show, aired in 2000, whose main theme is a treatment of adolescents at a reform camp in the mountains and woods of Pacific Northwest.

It revolves around a group called the "Cliffhangers" and starred Joe Lando, Anne Marie Loder, Jewel Staite, A.J. Cook, Jim Byrnes and Hayden Christensen, who would later be made famous by portraying Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

The show dealt with taboo issues like drug, sexual and verbal abuse, self-mutilation, eating disorder, neglect, and suicide attempts.

Shakespeare's Measure for Measure was given a live broadcast from the reconstructed Globe Theatre, with a cast including Mark Rylance (the Duke), Sophie Thompson (Isabella), Liam Brennan (Angelo), Michael Bertenshaw (Escalus), Alex Hassell (Claudio) and Colin Hurley (Lucio). Screened close to the 400th anniversary of the play's first performance, John Dove's stage production sought to recreate the feel of an authentic Elizabethan stage treatment, which was further enhanced by an optional onscreen context-setting commentary by Shakespeare expert Professor Kiernan Ryan for those with the appropriate digital technology. Those who lacked a red button were offered an accompanying discussion presented by the BBC's then political editor Andrew Marr with contributions from Dove, actress Juliet Stevenson and historian David Starkey.
