The Chestnut Soldier was the third in The Snow Spider Trilogy written by a great children's author Jenny Nimmo. This story leaves behind the painful history of the Griffiths family losing their only daughter Bethan and concentrates on another family, the Lloyds. Gwydion Gwyn Griffiths has grown quickly and finally accepts who he is and uses his magical powers to try and heal.
