A curious comedy-drama series starring the late George Cole as Henry Root, a 'Little Englander' setting out to get to know the 'enemy' on the Continent before the arrival of the single European market. Root and his wife (Pat Heywood) visit France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and Holland in five 50-minute episodes.
