Many significant events in the Beatles early history are depicted including the famous audition for Larry Parnes at Liverpool's Blue Angel club, meeting the "Exis" in Hamburg, the introduction of the "mop top" haircut, their explosion onto the Liverpool scene, Cavern Club gigs, meeting Brian Epstein, Decca auditions, the sacking of Pete Best, meeting George Martin, recording at Abbey Road, their first number one hit record and many others! 

The Beatles tried to have this film stopped. It's really good considering they were casting for lookalikes rather than acting ability. Filmed in Liverpool. Where are we going fellas?
